Cost Analyst

What's the Job?

Develop, evaluate, and present project costs for Aero gas turbine power generation plants during proposal and project execution phases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including proposal, finance, and project management to optimize project costs.

Create comprehensive cost summaries and reports for leadership review and decision-making.

Partner with project managers to monitor budgets, actuals, and forecasted costs, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks, leading continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction, or a relevant technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, cost estimating, or related roles within the power generation or engineering sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of Aero gas turbine power plant systems and design costing.
• Excellent analytical skills with a passion for process improvement and efficiency.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

About the Role

The Cost Analyst IV supports project management and financial analysis teams in the Power Plant Operations Department.
