Cost Analyst

About the role

The primary responsibility of a Cost Analyst at Champion Homes is to analyze and evaluate project costs, ensuring budget adherence and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis to assess project profitability and efficiency
• Monitor and report on project costs in comparison to budget
• Identify areas where cost savings can be achieved
• Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports and presentations
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost tracking

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost analysis or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards
• Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
