Cost Analyst
About the role
Validate commercial and technical savings ideas through business cases. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of 4 to size and ideate potential savings opportunities. Build supplier fact packs and negotiation strategies to drive direct material savings. Ensure adherence to savings governance, documentation standards, and approval requirements. Monitor progress to internal VCP targets and communicate status to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing Finance, Product Finance, Vehicle Cost Engineering, Plant Cost Analyst, or a comparable analytical role.
- Proven ability to develop, validate, and defend financial business cases.
- Strong analytical capability, including interpretation of complex data across multiple systems.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy, governance, and process discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office (emphasis on Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed team environment.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $43.77 - $43.77/hr.
