WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Plan and instruct classes on haircutting, grooming, hair color, cosmetology theory, and professional development, utilizing Paul Mitchell systems and culture
• Work directly with students, known as Future Professionals, in the Clinic Classroom to support their guest services
• Actively coach and assist students, offering both technical guidance and instruction in essential salon skills such as guest consultations, re-booking, and retailing
• Model the Paul Mitchell culture, demonstrating positive professional habits and setting an example for all students

REQUIREMENTS:

• A current California Cosmetology license
• 3+ years of full-time experience working as a cosmetologist
• Salon/barber shop experience, with strong results in building clientele, up-selling, rebooking, and retailing
• Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills
• Skills in supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investment
• A passion for the beauty and barbering industries
• Honesty and professionalism
• A passion for educating, learning, and helping others
• Taught experience (major plus)
• Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems (preferred)
