Essential Duties
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles to identify and document cosmetic damages, including scratches, dents, paint imperfections, and other aesthetic flaws.
- Accurately record inspection findings using Copart's proprietary software systems, ensuring that all relevant details are properly documented for transparent representation to potential buyers.
- Capture high-quality photographs of vehicles, highlighting both their strengths and any cosmetic imperfections discovered during inspection, to provide comprehensive visual representations to buyers.
- Maintain strict adherence to Copart's standards and guidelines for cosmetic inspections, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all assessments conducted.
- Work closely with other team members, including Vehicle Inspectors, Auction Coordinators, and Customer Service Representatives, to facilitate seamless communication and support efficient auction operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and cosmetic discrepancies, fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in training sessions and educational opportunities provided by Copart to enhance your knowledge and proficiency in vehicle inspection techniques and industry best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in automotive technology or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, bodywork, or cosmetic inspection strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in using digital photography equipment and basic computer skills required.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately assess and document cosmetic damages.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused mindset.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- The willingness to adapt to changing priorities and collaborate as part of a dynamic team.
Pay
$27.33 per hour
