Cosmetic Associate - Mitigation/Glass

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and identify various needed cosmetic repairs using DriveTime standards and tools.
  • Complete glass repairs as necessary and review all completed work with lead/supervisor.
  • Use, store, and maintain equipment properly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain a daily performance logs and review with the Reconditioning Center General Manager
  • Achieve the established goal for throughput, efficiency and quality
  • Establish consistency among cosmetic associates and technicians by adhering, enforcing and promoting DT Standards
  • Review and communicate all issues with the appropriate Cosmetic Associate, Reconditioning Manager and ICGM
  • Perform daily area inspections to ensure Cosmetic Associates are keeping clean and safe workstations
  • Portray a positive image of DriveTime and actively participate in the creation of a positive, professional work environment
  • Maintain workstation performance while adhering to DriveTime guidelines, policies and practices and acting ethically and with integrity at all times and with all employees.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Certificate or Associates degree in automotive technology or work experience equivalent (2 years or more) in automotive repair.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
  • Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet.
  • Requires standing for extended period of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.
  • Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • Requires use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
  • Requires some driving and frequent typing.
  • Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be able to communicate in English to ensure effective performance of the position in a safety-sensitive/technical environment.
