Cortez - Open Pit Driller

About the Role

We are looking for an Open Pit Driller to join our Cortez Surface Operations team. The successful candidate will be an excellent teammate, contributing to our results-oriented and dynamic working environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the drill area is properly cleaned before drilling.
• Maintain awareness of the work area, including other traffic, machinery, plant, and individuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous surface drilling/blasting experience preferred.
• Valid Nevada driver’s license required.
• Heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
• Ability to carry at least 50 pounds required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team required.
• Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance records required.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is essential.
