Duties and Responsibilities
- Set-up hose-forming equipment in the Corrugation Department
- Perform set-ups on P2 equipment to meet production and quality requirements
- Perform set-up inspections per PTS documentation
- Diagnose and correct set-up problems
- Initiate ideas to reduce set-up time through cooperation with Quality Engineer
- Operate P2 Hydraulic Corrugation equipment in Corrugation Department
- Operate all P2 equipment in the Corrugation Department and test hose to meet production and quality requirements
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance as required or directed to by supervision
- Adhere to Penflex Corporation safety guidelines at all times
- Perform in-process inspections as required per Penflex PTS documentation
- Strive for continuous improvement of the processes in the Corrugation Department
- Aid Quality Engineer in the development and implementation of process improvement ideas and projects
General
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Adhere to Penflex Corporation safety guidelines at all times
Reporting
Machine technicians report to the Corrugation Department Supervisor.
