Corrections Training Instructor/Coord I

Responsibilities

• Instruct trainees at regional training centers.
• Travel to jails and other locations as needed to deliver training.
• Review and develop curriculum as requested.

Requirements

• Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
• Two years of experience in any operation or program within the field of corrections and/or education.
• Substitute graduate study in corrections, justice administration, or law for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Substitute experience in corrections for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: $46,090.80 Annually

Employment Type: EXECUTIVE BRANCH | FULL TIME | ELIGIBLE FOR OVERTIME PAY | 18A | 40.0 HR/WK

Working Conditions

Statewide travel will be required to conduct training programs.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
