Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with auditing all facilities, to include privately managed facilities for medical, behavioral health, and/or food service audits;
- Assist the Senior Compliance Specialist with any compliance matters or directives/ initiatives as approved;
- Prepare audit paperwork/documentation needed for each audit scheduled;
- Report deficiencies to management for review;
- Complete pre-audit work in preparation for upcoming audits;
- Assist in follow-up audits to ensure findings are corrected;
- Prepare reports and presentations for executive staff;
- Assist with reviewing and developing inspection instruments;
- Review policies, as assigned;
- and Provide other administrative support, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to five years of correctional work. Substitution of Experience for Education: Qualifying full-time professional or paraprofessional correctional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of four years.
- OR 5 years of compliance or auditing experience in correctional facilities or programs.
