About the role

We are looking for a skilled, safety-minded Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will lead electrical installations for residential solar PV systems, mentor field crews, and serve as a crucial driver of high-quality renewable energy solutions across Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation of residential solar PV systems, including electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices, strictly adhering to project specifications and engineering designs.
  • Showcase expertise in routing and bending conduit with precision and professional finesse.
  • Execute all work in strict compliance with current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdictional requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead site visits with local inspectors, clearly communicating project details to guarantee smooth sign-offs.
  • Systematically troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues and PV system performance anomalies in the field.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols, promote quality workmanship, and maintain a secure, productive environment for all crew members.
  • Work closely with the Territory Project Manager and Logistics Coordinators to maintain schedule efficiency, report project updates, and resolve field escalations promptness.
  • Safely operate a company-provided service vehicle to client sites, maintaining a prompt and professional presence that guarantees customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Active Journeyman Electrician License (State of Texas).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Hands-on experience in residential or industrial electrical work/construction (solar experience is a strong plus, but general industrial/commercial/residential experience is valued!).
  • Strong proficiency in conduit bending, system troubleshooting, and reading electrical schematics.
  • Ability to work a standard Tuesday through Saturday shift.
