Corporate Video Editor

About the role

Balanced Body is looking for a Video Editor to join our Marketing department on-site at our headquarters in Sacramento, CA. You'll be responsible for filming and editing various projects for Balanced Body social media, website, and other marketing platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established leader in Pilates, contributing to our mission to help make the world a healthier place through movement.

Responsibilities

• Post-production video editing for a wide variety of projects
• Create on-screen graphics and thumbnail images
• Help schedule, plan, and track video release dates
• Assist in uploading to and maintaining our video channels
• Support video production duties (e.g., lighting, recording video, shooting photos, set design)

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to process feedback and take direction
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with video editing and familiarity using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
• Knowledge of current video editing software and technology
• Three years of experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with color grading, motion graphics, and animation
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
• Strong shooter (video and photo)
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs
• Safe and responsible with video/photo equipment
• Will be asked to provide samples of work, noting your role for each sample and including various types of content (at least one example must be current)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in video production and photography
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge or experience in Pilates

Pay

$29–$36 hourly.

Schedule

Full-time, hybrid work schedule (primarily onsite in Sacramento with occasional remote work possible). Monday–Friday.
