About the role
The Corporate Treasury Engineering team seeks talented software engineers to join a dynamic, cross-functional team focused on improving liquidity projections, financial resource allocation, cash and collateral management, and funds transfer pricing. This role offers opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies and gain insights into the firm's business activities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and measure risk using engineering principles and implement quantitative and technical risk management solutions in software.
- Develop software to analyze data, build metric calculators, and automate tools to provide business insights and support better decision-making.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand financial markets, liquidity management strategies, and enhance treasury systems and processes.
- Apply analytics to drive commercial outcomes and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work closely with business teams to create real-time impact and deliver products with the highest commercial value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in software development, including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design, and core programming concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to learn new technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work collaboratively with stakeholders, and communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- One to three years of technology programming experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong programming experience in compiled languages such as Java and familiarity with functional languages like Python.
- Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable, efficient systems.
- Familiarity with financial markets, financial assets, and liquidity management.
