About the role
The role involves developing optimization models for complex business problems, working closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Gurobi products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine mathematical optimization models to solve real-world business challenges
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate optimization solutions into Gurobi products
- Contribute to the research and development of new optimization algorithms and techniques
- Provide technical guidance and support to users and customers
- Participate in project planning and execution, including requirements gathering, design, and implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with optimization modeling languages and tools (e.g., Python, R, Julia)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with advanced optimization techniques and algorithms
- Knowledge of industry-standard optimization software and platforms
- Experience with data analysis and machine learning techniques
Skills
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Julia
- Experience with linear programming, integer programming, and constraint programming
- Knowledge of optimization libraries and frameworks (e.g., PuLP, CVXPY, Gurobi)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn)
- Understanding of optimization theory and its applications

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
