Tax Manager About the OpportunityA growing, multi-entity organization is seeking a Tax Manager to join its finance leadership team. This is a high-impact role with significant visibility and the opportunity to shape the future tax function of the company. The Tax Manager will oversee a broad range of corporate tax responsibilities while serving as the organization's primary subject matter expert for sales and indirect tax matters. This position offers a clear growth path into senior tax leadership and will play a key role in expanding internal tax capabilities and driving process improvements. Key ResponsibilitiesManage federal, state, and local income tax compliance and reporting activitiesOversee tax planning initiatives and support strategic business decisionsServe as the internal subject matter expert for sales and use tax, indirect tax, and related compliance mattersPartner with finance, accounting, and operational teams to address tax implications of business activitiesCoordinate with external advisors and service providers as neededReview tax filings, tax provisions, and supporting documentationMonitor changes in tax regulations and assess organizational impactIdentify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and overall tax function efficiencySupport audits and inquiries from taxing authorities Desired BackgroundBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA, MST, or similar credential preferred6+ years of progressive corporate tax experience within a public accounting or large company environmentStrong understanding of federal and state corporate taxationExperience with sales and use tax, indirect tax, or multi-state tax compliance required Ability to work independently and provide guidance on complex tax mattersStrong communication and cross-functional partnership skills Why This Opportunity?Opportunity to become the senior tax leader within the organizationHigh visibility with executive leadershipAbility to influence and build processes rather than simply maintain themGrowth-oriented environment with long-term career advancement potentialHYBRID office environment Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
