Corporate Tax Intern - Year Round

About the role

The CME Group Corporate Tax group is comprised of professionals with a variety of tax experiences. The team focuses on all domestic and international areas impacting the company including research, planning, audit defense, and compliance. We are looking for an enthusiastic accounting major to assist with all areas of compliance as well as special projects.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of corporate federal and state income tax returns
• Gathering data for foreign informational reporting
• Organizing information to be provided for federal and state income and sales tax audits
• Other projects as assigned

Requirements

• Basic college tax course a plus
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong organizational skills
• Preference for students entering their Sophomore year of college, though Juniors with relevant coursework or experience are welcome to apply

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree. Local to Chicago.

Pay

Pay range typically applicable to our intern roles is $21.68--$36.10. Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
