Corporate Tax Intern (Summer 2027)

About the role

The Corporate Tax intern will assist the corporate tax function, including preparation of tax returns and tax audit support, and provide tax-related support on a global level. This internship is based at the Milwaukee, WI Headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Serves as support for Domestic Tax Manager and various other members of the Tax Department
• Assist with the preparation of sales and use tax return and other indirect tax filings
• Assist with the preparation of U.S. federal and state tax returns
• Perform research related to specific tax matters
• Validate tax exemption certificates
• Special projects as needed
• Help identify process improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• Must currently be pursuing a 4‑year degree in Accounting or Finance; preferably a Junior or Senior
• GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage several tasks/projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Efficient with MS Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Advanced problem solving and teamwork skills
• Prior experience working in an office setting a plus

Schedule

Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
