About the role
The Corporate Tax Director will lead business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting projects. The role involves engaging with clients, managing engagements, and collaborating with other specialists.
Responsibilities
- Supervise multiple client services teams on client engagements
- Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in various industries
- Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients
- Support the growth of the firm by selling services to clients
- Attend professional development and training sessions
- Manage, train, and mentor staff on tax projects
- Conduct primary and secondary reviews of tax returns and ASC 740 engagements
- Research and consult on various tax matters
- Manage engagement fundamentals including realization, utilization, leverage, accounts receivable, and expenses
- Gain an understanding of client operations and business objectives
- Adhere to professional standards and maintain client confidentiality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master's degree in taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD preferred
- Minimum five to seven years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
- CPA or JD/active law license required
- Experience in public accounting preferred
- Experience in corporate income tax and strong ASC 740 skills
- Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with knowledge of US GAAP and corporate income tax laws and regulations
- Strong working knowledge of statutory income tax compliance and consulting including state and local income taxes, taxation of international activity, and transfer pricing
- Exceptional client service, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Experience in OneSource Tax Provision preferred
- Strong teamwork and analytical skills with attention to detail
Qualifications

Benefits
Base salary range: $197,800 - $215,000+
