About the role

As a Corporate Strategy Associate at Cargill, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Strategy team, working with senior leadership to develop world‑class actionable strategy and execute transformative initiatives for various businesses of Cargill. This role requires a blend of problem‑solving and thought leadership, communication and stakeholder management, and project and workstream management skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure complex business problems, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, generate and synthesize findings, and recommend solutions.
• Articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leaders through excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Develop trust‑based relationships with stakeholders from different businesses, including senior executives, commercial teams, and functional teams.
• Independently lead project workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and high‑quality outputs.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues, fostering their professional development and ensuring productive team dynamics.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree from a top‑tier university, with academic excellence or equivalent experience.
• Pursuing an MBA or relevant Master’s degree with anticipated graduation date in May 2027.
• Experience in strategy development across growth and transformation topics.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling and corporate finance.
• Minimum of four years of related work experience.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days a week in Wayzata, MN.

Preferred

• 2–3+ years experience in top‑tier consulting firms with a strong performance track record.
• Experience in the agricultural, food, or commodities sectors.
• Ability to travel, potentially up to 20% (depending on project needs).

Pay

The expected salary for this position is $145,000.00.
