Corporate Safety Director

Based in New York City, our firm is made of engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities that surround us.

About the Role

The ideal candidate leads company-wide safety programs across all projects and worksites, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements. This position requires the ability to work 5 days on site either in the office or job site.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and clients’ safetyrequirements.
• Foster and promote a strong safety culture.
• Implement construction and general industry safety programs
• Perform Safety Audits, Safety Management, Safety Training
• Representing the company at safety meetings with clients
• Business Development
• Visit the active construction project sites
• Manages and oversees the Safety Department.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in the safety field
• Ability to work 5 days on site either in office or job site
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER

Preferred Certifications

• Confined Space Entry
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certification
• Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Certification
• OSHA Hazardous Communication
• OSHA Trainer

Pay

Estimated Annual Compensation Starting at $170,000, depending on experience.
