Corporate Regional Director of Finance

Overview

The Corporate Regional Director of Finance oversees and performs the hotel accounting function across Omni Hotels & Resorts. This role ensures consistent execution of accounting policies, financial controls, month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow reporting for partnership hotels, and the month-end process across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for hotel accounting operations across the portfolio, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Direct and support month-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely completion of financial reporting requirements and adherence to established deadlines.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and cash flow management processes to ensure financial integrity and appropriate stewardship of company assets.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and accounting policies across all properties and centralized accounting teams.
• Lead the relationship and performance management of shared services and BPO accounting functions, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting commitments are achieved.
• Partner with property and regional operations leadership to support financial performance, operational efficiency, and achievement of budget and forecast targets.
• Provide accounting guidance and operational support to hotel finance teams, ensuring alignment with Company standards and best practices.
• Monitor financial results and accounting processes to identify trends, risks, improvement opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, audit standards, and Company financial policies while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
