About the role
Pecheles Automotive Group is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to lead talent acquisition across our six dealerships — Hyundai, Volkswagen, Toyota, Audi, Honda, and Ford — spanning Eastern North Carolina. This role shapes the workforce behind one of the region's most respected dealer groups, from the sales floor to the service bay to store leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for sales consultants, service technicians, and management roles across all six locations
- Build proactive talent pipelines for every brand, not just fill openings as they arise
- Partner with General Managers at each location to understand staffing needs, culture, and growth plans
- Screen, pre-qualify, and present top candidates so leadership interviews only the best
- Keep ownership, the COO, and GMs informed on hiring progress, pipeline health, and staffing risks
- Track time-to-fill, source performance, and new-hire retention across the group
- Represent the Pecheles brand as an employer of choice in local hiring markets and job fairs
Requirements
- 2+ years of recruiting experience; automotive or high-volume retail experience a strong plus
- Ability to manage hiring pipelines across multiple locations and brands simultaneously
- Sharp instincts for evaluating talent beyond the resume
- Comfortable operating at a fast pace in a competitive Eastern NC labor market
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills across all levels of leadership
- Must be available to work evening hours as directed
Benefits
- Competitive base plus performance incentives tied to quality placements
- Incredible benefits package
About the company
- Six-rooftop group with real scale and long-term stability in the Eastern NC market
- Reports to the HR Director, with direct visibility to ownership, the COO, and GMs — this isn't a role buried in a corporate silo
- Clear path to Talent Acquisition Manager or broader HR leadership as the group grows
