About the role
This position serves as the point of contact for Draper’s training facility, overseeing its marketing aesthetics, functional training purposes, and digital learning efforts. You will develop training strategies, tools, and programs for dealers, employees, and external stakeholders while managing event logistics and continuing education courses.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for the Draper training facility.
- Manage the training facility’s marketing aesthetics and functional training purposes.
- Develop training strategies and tools in collaboration with market directors, the director of marketing, and product managers.
- Organize trainings at the facility, including product setup, layouts, presentations, and event logistics (lodging, food, etc.).
- Oversee digital learning initiatives and conduct in-field training for customers or specific topics.
- Perform hands-on product setup and teardown.
- Develop outward-facing PowerPoints for sales teams to use with dealers, designers, and architects.
- Oversee Draper’s AIA and other accredited continuing education courses.
- Support Draper’s Voice of the Customer efforts by engaging product managers, engineering, and technical support to address feedback.
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs (in-person and virtual) for dealers and employees.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and requirements.
- Facilitate and develop onboarding programs for new dealers and employees, focusing on sales, marketing, and product training.
- Maintain and update training content to reflect product specifications, environmental requirements (HPDs, Red Lists, EPDs, LEED, etc.), and internal process changes.
Requirements
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to small and large groups.
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office products.
- Willingness to travel as needed for dealer training events, tradeshows, and other engagements.
Schedule
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
