Corporate Payroll Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance of proper internal control payroll processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify payroll systems problems/issues.
• Maintain payroll systems audit monthly, quarterly or as required.
• Assist with external payroll audit requests, implementations of current or new acquisitions, and research laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• A minimum of 5 years Hospital Payroll experience.
• General accounting background.
• Hands-on experience with Excel or equivalent.
• Experience with JBDev/Kronos or similar timekeeping system.
• Some knowledge of ADP preferred.
• Knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines and Healthcare pay practices.
• Knowledge of payroll dictionary setup.
• Hands-on experience with payroll taxes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with audits for 401k, DOL, W/C preferred.
• Multi-state knowledge of payroll laws preferred.
• Some knowledge of ADP preferred.
• Experience with union collective bargaining agreements and protocols preferred.
