Corporate Partner - Korean Practice

About the role

Join the Korean Practice of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in one of its nationwide offices. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing international practice representing Korean-based companies conducting business in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Represent Korean-based companies in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including fund formation, securities transactions, capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling.
• Advise clients on strategic business matters.
• Maintain and expand client relationships.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's Korean Practice.

Requirements

• Significant experience handling sophisticated transactional matters, including fund formation, securities, and capital markets transactions.
• Demonstrated business development relationships with Korean-based companies conducting business in the United States.
• An established and portable book of business.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and drafting skills.
• Admitted and in good standing in the jurisdiction where you practice and Nelson Mullins maintains an office location. If you currently reside in a non-U.S. jurisdiction, you must be admitted and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• If you wish to relocate to a jurisdiction where you are not currently admitted, you must be eligible for admission in that jurisdiction, either by examination or on motion.

Pay

Compensation range for this position is $300,000 - $500,000, depending on the size of the historical and portable book of business. Additional bonus opportunities are also possible. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
