About the Role
A respected and growing law firm is seeking a Corporate / M&A Attorney to join its thriving transactional practice. This position offers substantial client interaction, hands-on deal experience, and the opportunity to work with clients across a diverse range of industries.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of transaction documents, including purchase agreements, operating agreements, and investment documents.
- Conduct due diligence and provide support to buyers and sellers throughout all phases of M&A transactions.
- Advise clients on corporate governance matters and general business operations.
- Assist with private securities offerings and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state securities laws.
- Collaborate directly with clients, boards of directors, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful transactions.
- Manage multiple matters in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the applicable state bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and/or securities matters.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships and work independently on complex transactions.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
