Corporate FP&A Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process and subsequent quarterly forecasts in collaboration with department heads and executive leadership. Analyze historical financial data and market trends to make informed projections.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, maintain and present monthly financial reports to senior management. Highlight key financial metrics, variances, and trends.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and identify areas for margin expansion across the different A&D programs we contract on. Collaborate with operational teams to improve cost efficiency and understand the key cost components of our products.
  • Financial Modeling: Create and maintain dynamic financial models to assess the financial impact of various scenarios. Evaluate investment opportunities (capital expenditures) and provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and interpret financial results against budget and forecast. Provide insights into the drivers of financial performance.
  • Forecast Accuracy: Monitor and improve the accuracy of financial forecasts through regular reviews and adjustments. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as requested. Provide insights into specific financial issues or business challenges.

What You’ll Bring (Additional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

  • Prior experience in corporate finance (Aerospace and Defense is a plus)
  • Experience with POC (percentage of completion) or other intricate revenue recognition policies (recurring revenue)
  • Strong skillset in financial modeling, planning and analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems
  • A willingness to learn as you go and build upon your existing skillset
  • Critical thinking & problem-solving skills, even when data is not complete or when guidance is limited
  • Experience with data visualization tools is a plus (Tableau or PowerBI)

Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR requirements.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen per Lyntris’ drug testing policy.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check per Lyntris’ policy.

Job Information

  • This is a full-time, permanent position.

  • This position is considered exempt and ineligible for overtime pay.
  • Pay range: $100,000-$140,000 based on qualifications and experience.
