Corporate Facilitator
The Browne Center is hiring Corporate Facilitators to work on specific programs with a variety of populations, including youth, students, non-profits, corporate, and other adult groups. We believe human connections are the catalyst for positive change and achieve this by designing and facilitating learning and development experiences.
With a 30-year history, the Browne Center is known for leading-edge expertise in meaningful and actionable programs tailored to meet each client’s needs. Programs range from one-day experiences to multi-day sessions spread over a year. Our facilities include a 52-element challenge course, a climbing chimney, an orienteering course, a seminar building, yurts, and access to over 100 acres on the Great Bay.

The Browne Center serves two broad client groups: Corporate/Organizational and Youth/Student. We focus on enhancing skills such as:

Responsibilities
- Careful and intentional facilitation of group processes to ensure a high-quality, high-impact client experience.
- Address client learning objectives by following program designs provided by Lead or Program Manager.
- Manage physical, social, and emotional risks associated with group processes and experiential activities, including challenge courses.
- Responsible use and care of all Browne Center equipment, including props and climbing ropes.
- Deliver one-off or multi-day programs focused on team dynamics, leadership, and interpersonal skill development.
- Work with Browne Center Program Directors to meet specific client needs.
- Deliver programming on-site at The Browne Center or off-site at hotels, conference centers, or office locations.
Program Breakdown
- Program Preparation (20%)
- Meet with clients ahead of program delivery.
- Coordinate with co-facilitators for planning.
- Review program prep materials, including client briefings, customized activities, and related readings.
- Set up on the day of program delivery.
- Travel, if required.
- Program Delivery (70%)
- Facilitate programs and interface with clients.
- Follow-up (10%)
- Complete follow-up items with clients, such as summarizing notes or suggesting follow-on readings.
- Conduct post-program debriefs and return gear/materials.
Requirements
- Minimum education: 4-year college degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Organizational Behavior/Development, Education).
- Relevant practical experience leading teams and/or organizations.
- Experience with facilitating experiential learning activities and exercises.
Qualifications
- Strong group facilitation, organizational development, or related interpersonal skill expertise.
- Ability to interact positively and professionally with clients.
- Solid foundation in professional experiential education methodologies, including integrating challenge course elements in program design.
