Corporate Director of Nursing
About the Role
We are looking for a Corporate Director of Nursing (DON) to organize and administer areas of clinical and patient care services to attain facility’s objectives established by administration.
Responsibilities
- Develop hospital-wide programs, policies and procedures to assess, evaluate and meet the needs of the patient.
- Develop and implement hospital plans for providing nursing care, treatment, and clinical services to those patients requiring care, treatment and services.
- Participate with the management, medical staff and clinical leaders in the facility’s decision-making structures and processes.
- Implement an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care, treatment and services delivered to patients.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of two (2) years supervisory/management experience necessary.
- Minimum of five (5) years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Chief Nursing Executive Experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) within 6 months of hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $180,000.00 to $240,000.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
