Corporate Development Expert (AI Development / Remote) | $2000 / Task

JobHub by NeonLabs is seeking experienced Corporate Development Experts to help build a high-quality library of in-house corporate development and M&A work products. This role focuses on completing self-contained M&A exercises from mock files—including CIMs, diligence reports, term sheets, and board decks—and producing professional-grade deliverables graded against a strict rubric. You’ll leverage your in-house operating experience to produce valuation models, draft transaction terms, and run diligence processes to support advanced data generation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Build complex valuation and merger models, including three-statement, DCF, trading and transaction comps, accretion-dilution, cap tables, and equity waterfalls
• Draft and compare transaction terms, such as IOIs, LOIs, term sheets, bid comparisons, deal structure, and consideration economics
• Produce comprehensive process and board materials, including management presentations, data packs, buyer universes, board/committee decks, closing mechanics, and funds flow
• Run screening, diligence, and integration work, including inbound deal screens, diligence request lists, findings synthesis, synergy models, carve-out analysis, and 100-day plans

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in an in-house corporate development or M&A role at an operating company
• Hands-on ownership of live transactions end-to-end, rather than solely support work
• Must be an in-house operator (we are specifically looking for operators, not strictly sell-side or advisory practitioners)
• Exceptional financial modeling, written communication, and analytical reasoning skills

Qualifications

• Investment banking or private equity background prior to moving in-house (bonus)
• Big 4 transaction advisory or financial due diligence experience (bonus)
