For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Corporate Development Director to support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making.

About the role

You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of corporate development initiatives by evaluating acquisitions and partnerships
  • Research market trends and perform financial analyses to assess opportunities
  • Coordinate diligence workstreams across internal and external partners
  • Manage diligence activities, identify risks, and recommend strategic decisions
  • Prepare analyses and presentations for internal discussions and board presentations
  • Enhance corporate development tools and processes for efficient execution
  • Establish effective collaboration methods with stakeholders to improve transaction outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or consulting
  • Strong financial acumen to analyze financial statements and deal economics
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to synthesize diverse information for strategic evaluation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Pay

$137,000 – $200,750 annually
