Corporate Culture Coordinator (Mercantile)
Position Summary
The Corporate Culture Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative support while helping create a positive and engaging employee experience. This position supports office activities, employee events, company celebrations, recognition programs, and special projects. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, personable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys helping others, keeping things organized, and making sure the details are taken care of. This position is well suited for an early-career administrative professional who wants to develop experience in office administration, employee engagement, event coordination, and business operations within a growing aerospace manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the President in conjunction with the marketing team
- Manage, maintain, and publish a master calendar to coordinate all employee engagement programs and activities
- Enhance our culture and community with consistent communications and innovative employee engagement events
- Act as an internal ambassador for our culture and core values and build genuine connections across all employees
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
- Schedule meetings and adjust schedules as necessary
- Research, analyze and summarize data for presentations
- Write bullet points for speeches
- Coordinate events and giveaways
- Maintain event and giveaway budgets
- Maintain records of all anniversary/contest/referral gift cards distributed
- Research and gather information for presentations
- Create and update PowerPoint presentations/Excel charts, etc. as needed
- Take notes and action items
- Assist Team Leaders as necessary
- Manage and coordinate travel
- Perform other duties as required
- Supervise Corporate Culture personnel
- Perform yearly employee reviews
- Review and approve bi-weekly payroll reports
- Interview, hire, and terminate Corporate Culture personnel
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of office experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to provide a high-quality experience for internal employees
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must have exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Team-orientated and adaptable
- Requires advanced computer skills in the following areas: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Photo Editing (preferably Photoshop)
- Above average verbal and written communication skills including: Notetaking (using a tablet or laptop computer), Dictation, Speech writing
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Requires good interpersonal skills
