Corporate Credit Research Analyst - Investment Grade Industrials Sector

About the Role

We are looking to expand our Investment Grade credit research team by adding a Research Analyst to cover Investment Grade corporate credits within the Industrials Sector. This individual will be responsible for generating investment ideas within our $55 billion Investment Grade corporates franchise and will interact with investment professionals across our taxable fixed income mandates.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed regional, industry, and company fundamental analysis for industries within the Industrials Sector.
  • Identify primary and secondary investment opportunities and make investment recommendations to portfolio managers within investment grade.
  • Support ideas with rigorous analysis and publication of detailed investment recommendations.
  • Build and maintain industry and company financial models.
  • Communicate and develop relationships with issuer management teams, sell-side professionals, and industry experts.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of credit analysis experience covering fundamental industry trends and companies within the Industrials Sector, focusing on investment grade companies.
  • Excellent quantitative, qualitative, and investment management skills.
  • Ability to articulate investment ideas in a clear and concise manner with internal and external constituents.
  • An attitude and practice of proactive idea generation.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Some buy-side experience working in a team-oriented environment is preferred.
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA degree or CFA designation viewed positively, but not required.

Pay

Annual base salary for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. Actual pay may vary. The role may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus, determined by several factors including firm, team, and individual performance.
