Description

Alexa is looking for an exceptional attorney to support the growing North American Seller Business & Programs Team. Key job responsibilities include providing day-to-day legal support to business teams, developing strategies for handling legal issues, helping business teams launch new programs, products, and features for sellers, serving as lead counsel in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, resolving issues arising in existing commercial relationships, and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-bar admission legal experience
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
• Common sense and a good sense of humor
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
• Team player and consensus builder who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business clients at all levels throughout the organization
• Business acumen combined with ability to identify optimal solutions, including novel, creative and innovative solutions to complex issues
• Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution, responding openly and flexibly to change

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
