Corporate Counsel & Director, Legal Services - Litigation

Responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and guidance on litigation and contract issues
• Oversee engagement and management of outside counsel, including strategy and budgeting
• Review outside counsel invoices for accuracy and compliance
• Support internal investigations by gathering information and coordinating stakeholders
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses and summaries
• Affiliate in managing disputes from intake to resolution, tracking deadlines and strategies
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to litigation

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in good standing in at least one state
• 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm, in-house, or judicial clerkship
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures and basic contract principles
• Excellent organizational skills to manage high volumes of cases across jurisdictions
• Strong communication skills to interface with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with legal technology is a plus
