Corporate Counsel

Overview Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our 50-lawyer Law Department. The ideal candidate will work on a broad range of corporate and healthcare legal matters. Job Description The Corporate Counsel will draft, review, revise and manage contracts and legal memoranda for review by senior legal staff. They will conduct research, review with senior legal staff and provide advice on general legal and regulatory compliance issues. They will draft agreements and participate in contract negotiations, suggesting alternative provisions to limit risk and liability. They will assist with various projects as assigned by more senior lawyers. Success Profile A successful Corporate Counsel must have 2-5 years' related experience or an advanced degree without experience, along with excellent communication, legal research, and computer skills. They should be able to communicate effectively with FMCNA field personnel and other attorneys within and outside the legal department. Rewards The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate's work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies. Annual Rate: $94,000 - $158,000. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, parental leave.
