What You'll Do
- Support the preparation, review, and filing of Figma's SEC reports and other corporate regulatory filings, including quarterly reports, the annual proxy statement, Section 16 filings, and beneficial ownership reports
- Support review of public-facing corporate communications, including earnings materials and investor presentations
- Aid in corporate governance matters, including preparing Board and Committee materials and maintaining and operationalizing public-company policies
- Assist with equity matters, including 10b5-1 plans and Figma's trading policy
- Build and maintain processes using AI and other tools, such as playbooks, templates, metrics, self-serve tools, and automations, to help improve legal workflows and scale the legal function
- Partner with and provide practical legal advice to other critical stakeholders across accounting, equity, finance, people, and communications
- Provide legal support for transactional and general corporate matters, including financings, strategic transactions, and corporate initiatives as they arise
Requirements
- 4+ years of legal experience at a top tier law firm and in-house legal department
- You should have a J.D. and be a current member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
- Deep knowledge of corporate and securities laws and SEC reporting requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business judgment, with the ability to distill complex issues and communicate them clearly to stakeholders
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects and recalibrate advice in response to shifting priorities, legal developments, and risk tolerance

Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $153,000—$296,000 USD.
