Corporate Counsel, Amazon Supply Chain Services & Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment

About the role

Amazon Legal is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) and Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment (MCF).

Responsibilities

• Counseling the marketing, sales, and business development teams on a broad range of commercial, licensing, technology, and regulatory matters.
• Structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial transactions.
• Providing day-to-day input on business and strategy, and resolving issues that arise in commercial relationships.
• Developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, and building processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of post-bar admission legal experience.
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work.
• Experience working cross-functionally across several teams.
• Experience counseling on supply chain, logistics, or fulfillment services in a technology-driven environment.

Skills

• Experience with commercial transactions.
• Ability to provide strategic input on business and strategy.
• Experience with creative problem-solving and scalable legal frameworks.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $153,900.00 - $208,200.00 USD annually in Seattle, WA, and $169,300.00 - $229,000.00 USD annually in New York, NY.
