About the role

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. The legal team seeks a lawyer to counsel on regulatory issues and operations related to satellite-based broadband services and cybersecurity, including data access regulations and cybersecurity incident response. The role involves collaborating with technical teams, public policy, and other Amazon stakeholders to strategize and advise on the regulatory landscape for designing and building a global satellite network.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on regulatory issues and operations related to satellite-based broadband services and cybersecurity.
• Address regulations concerning access to data and cybersecurity incident response.
• Work with Amazon Leo’s technical teams, public policy team, and other
