About the role
Serve as primary legal counsel for content acquisition teams
Provide legal guidance on product and program development, pricing, and regulatory compliance
Negotiate and draft content licensing and purchase agreements
Manage vendor disputes; coordinate with outside counsel and internal litigation teams on consumer litigation
Partner with cross-functional teams (PR, public policy) on go-to-market strategies

Requirements
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Preferred qualifications include experience working at a corporate law firm, experience in intellectual property or content licensing, experience in digital media, publishing, or subscription services, demonstrated ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice in fast-paced environments, and experience managing vendor disputes or litigation
