About the role

In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for planning, executing, and continuously developing PALFINGER's regional corporate communications in North America. The role translates global communication strategies, key messages, and governance frameworks into regionally relevant, impactful internal and external communication, ensuring alignment with PALFINGER's Reach Higher Strategy 2030+, brand, culture, and business priorities. As a Marketing HUB role, this position acts as the single point of contact for corporate communications in North America, ensuring strong regional execution, consistent messaging, and close coordination with the Corporate Communications Center of Excellence (CoE).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute North America's corporate communication strategy, ensuring alignment with global governance, standards, and editorial planning while translating key messages into regionally relevant narratives.
  • Plan, create, and execute internal communications across corporate channels including intranet, email, Microsoft Teams, and leadership communications while supporting executive and leadership messaging.
  • Lead regional external corporate communications and public relations activities, including press releases, media relations, corporate content, and PR initiatives in alignment with global strategy.
  • Act as the central communication interface between Corporate Communications, North American leadership, Human Resources, functional stakeholders, agencies, media, and external partners.
  • Support crisis, change, and strategic communications by delivering clear, coordinated messaging and contributing to regional transformation initiatives and high-impact communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or internal communications, preferably within an international or matrix organization.
  • Proven experience drafting press releases, executive communications, and managing media relations.
  • Experience supporting crisis communication, change communication, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and corporate communication platforms.
