About the role
The global pharmaceutical client is seeking a Corporate Marketing Communications professional to support the development of a variety of communications for internal employees and external partners related to Regulatory Affairs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of communication strategies and programs for Regulatory Affairs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and business objectives.
- Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop communications that support RA initiatives, cross-functional culture goals, and strategic priorities.
- Draft, edit, and distribute employee communications, including all-employee emails, newsletters, and other enterprise-wide updates.
- Maintain the RA communications calendar and ensure timely and effective message flow.
- Support the employee advisory group by developing agendas, coordinating meetings, facilitating discussion, and preparing communication outputs for leadership and employees.
- Develop integrated communication plans for multiple audiences, including stakeholder analysis, message development, timing, channel selection, and effectiveness tracking.
- Provide executive communications support to the VP of RA and RA leadership team, including presentations, talking points, scripts, videos, all-staff meeting materials, awards communications, and strategic messaging.
- Build and optimize communication programs that support employee understanding and adoption of organizational priorities and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure communications are consistent, well-coordinated, and aligned with client objectives.
- Assess communication needs and effectiveness, incorporating feedback and insights to continuously improve messaging and channel strategy.
- Support planning and delivery of key communication forums and events that promote understanding of RA priorities and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Integrated Marketing, communications, Journalism, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of communications or related experience
- Must have a portfolio of content to share
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with knowledge of emerging communication trends and technologies
- Strong business acumen with the ability to anticipate company and team needs
- Keen awareness of cultural nuances and demonstrated ability to work in a global environment
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with multi-divisional and multi-functional teams globally
- Experience developing and implementing communications strategies for highly complex business and technology initiatives
- Supervisory or leadership experience managing people or multiple projects
Skills
- Project planning and management experience, including successful implementation of business initiatives with technology components
