Corporate Bench Maintenance Engineer

About the role

CMC Hotels is seeking an experienced above-property Chief Maintenance Engineer to oversee maintenance programs and work alongside property maintenance teams on larger projects.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment such as HVAC, pool pacs, water heaters, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, ice machines, etc.
• Handle problems effectively, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues as necessary.
• Communicate and collaborate with hotel guests and staff, demonstrating effective listening and communication skills.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities, working independently and as part of a team.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing daily workload and maintaining attention to detail.
• Have experience with door locking mechanisms such as Saflok, Dormakaba, Aculock, and RFID.

Requirements

• CPO certification
• 5+ years of maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
• 2+ years of hotel maintenance experience
• Trade school experience or equivalent working experience
• HVAC certification and current EPA certification (a plus)
