Corporate Attorney (Contract)

About the role

This is a hands-on contract opportunity for a corporate attorney comfortable stepping into a fast-paced, in-house environment and hitting the ground running. You will work closely with the General Counsel, providing broad legal support across the business.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
• Supporting corporate governance and compliance matters
• Advising on general business transactions and operational legal needs
• Assisting with any ad hoc legal matters arising during the contract period

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing
• Prior in-house or law firm experience with a corporate/commercial focus
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently with minimal supervision
• Strong drafting and communication skills

Skills

• Experience in the food, beverage, or consumer products industry a plus but not required
