LP's Corporate Practice Group represents middle-market companies, private equity funds, family businesses, and entrepreneurs in a wide range of transactional and governance matters. We handle M&A transactions from $10 million to $1 billion across diverse industries — including food & beverage, industrial manufacturing, professional services, cannabis, and more. Our work includes complex acquisitions, divestitures, ESOP transactions, joint ventures, restructurings, complex commercial agreements, private offerings and general corporate counseling. Experience That Makes You a Fit
- 3+ years of M&A experience, with sophisticated transactional experience in the insurance brokerage industry
- Experience handling traditional M&A transactions, including both buy-side and sell-side work
- Familiarity with capital raises, internal perpetuation transactions, and related corporate matters involving insurance agencies and their owners
- Ability to apply industry knowledge and market-term insight to support clients in complex insurance brokerage transactions
- Experience working with private equity-backed national insurance agencies, regional agencies, specialty agencies, or comparable clients preferred
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bright, eager to continue to learn and develop new skills, self-starter with a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial approach to practicing law

Salary and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position starts at $230,000+. LP offers generous compensation and benefits packages, including medical, dental and vision benefits, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
