About the role
Spotlight call scheduled for 9/30/2026 at 2:30 PM. Contract position (non‑SCA) – 3 openings, currently through 12/31/2026 with potential for extension. Onsite role requiring local candidates. Virtual Teams interview with Hiring Manager Jason Perla. Start date ASAP upon clearing onboarding; currently listed for 10/26. Training is one‑on‑one on‑the‑job. This is an appeals/clinical review role, not a traditional bedside RN position.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day work focuses on reviewing medical records and provider appeals/denials, confirming appropriate coding, and determining whether a denial should be upheld or overturned.
Requirements
- 3 years of clinical experience; or 2 years of clinical experience plus 1 year of utilization/medical review, quality assurance, or home health experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of hire or active compact multistate unrestricted RN license (NLC)
Skills
- Healthcare insurance experience preferred
- Demonstrated dependability and accountability
- Responsive and able to move quickly through interview and screening
Pay
Maximum pay rate: $31.59 per hour.
Schedule
Monday‑Friday, typically 8 am‑5 pm (some flexibility for an earlier start time).
