About the role

This on-site role in Manhattan, New York involves responding to facilities tickets and assisting with general maintenance— all under the guidance of the Facilities Team Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections of workspaces to identify maintenance, repair, or upgrade needs, and coordinate with vendors and building management as necessary.
  • Manage and track facilities supply orders, vendor accounts, service contracts, and recurring maintenance schedules.
  • Log, track, and update incoming facility requests using the internal ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Collaborate with the events team on event setup logistics and support office moves, renovations, and special projects as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC, lighting, MEP, and building management systems, addressing issues independently or with external vendors when needed.
  • Create detailed incident reports, maintain records of facility activities, and manage vendor performance against service level expectations.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager and building staff to proactively maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning work environment.

Requirements

  • 2-7 years of facilities experience in a corporate office environment (larger firms preferred).
  • Basic technical knowledge of HVAC, MEP, lighting control, and building management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • BA or BS preferred but not required.
