Corporate Accounting Intern

Kimco Realty Corp. (NYSE: Kim), North America’s largest publicly traded owners and operators of open-air, grocery-anchored shopping centers and mixed-use assets, is currently seeking Interns to join our collaborative, challenging, growth oriented team. We're seeking smart, driven candidates who are passionate about beginning a career in real estate. This Summer internship will involve working approximately 40 hours per week for a duration of approximately 8 weeks, with flexible start and end dates. Interns will be paid an hourly rate of $20 an hour. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of Kimco’s quarterly Form 10-Q filingPartner with the Corporate Accounting team on preparing leads for quarter-end closeBuild analyses using AI tools to support accounting projects Assist with internal controls audit procedures Support planning and preparation efforts related to Kimco hosting the AdHoc ConferenceCollaborate with other departments, including Treasury and Tax, on projects and assignments as needed Requirements Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in a business oriented major, preferably with a focus in real estateStrong written, verbal and analytical skillsAbility to interact effectively with a wide range of internal and external customersProficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn internal systems ** Kimco Realty is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Veteran/Disability **
