About the role
Coordinates and directs Security Personnel as assigned. Works as a line Security Officer, when not assigned to supervise, performing all duties as outlined in the Security Officer's Job Description.
Responsibilities
- Works as a line Security Officer, performing all duties as outlined in the Security Officer's Job Description.
- Covers shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
- Ensures compliance with NYS Security Guard Certification and NYS Drivers License requirements.
- Maintains a high level of physical fitness to meet the weight requirement of very heavy lifting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate of Arts in Criminal justice, Criminology, or a related area; or its equivalency of a minimum of 60 semester hours with an emphasis in criminal justice/criminology preferred.
- NYS Security Guard Certification required.
- Licensed NYS Security Guard required.
- NYS Drivers License required.
- CPR Certification required.
- One year experience as a Security Guard preferred.
Qualifications
