Corp Trust Financial Mgmt Analyst 3
About the Role
This position works within the Global Corporate Trust business unit and is responsible for cash and asset management of trust accounts including monitoring and investment of balances, valuations of assets and collateral, and the proper funding of accounts in compliance with governing trust documents. Uses bond financing documents, along with internal control mechanisms, to interpret the amount and timing of cash and asset movements. Prepares trust accounting system entries, calculating and executing debt retirements, and other account transaction duties. Interacts with specialized units to provide meaningful quality measurements to account managers to ensure that cash and asset management procedures are followed, and legal document requirements are met. May also involve some direct client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and invest trust account balances
- Perform valuations of assets and collateral
- Ensure proper funding of accounts in compliance with governing trust documents
- Interpret bond financing documents to determine cash and asset movements
- Prepare trust accounting system entries
- Calculate and execute debt retirements and other account transactions
- Interact with specialized units to provide quality measurements for account managers
- Ensure adherence to cash and asset management procedures and legal document requirements
- Engage in direct client interaction as needed
Requirements
- Associate's degree or technical education, or equivalent work experience
- Two to three years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of investments, accounting transactions, and client service
- Ability to interpret bond financing documents to decipher cash and asset transactions
- Proficiency in performing mathematical calculations including percentages, ratios, and bond interest
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using software packages including Microsoft Excel
- Systems experience with Trust Accounting and Bond Accounting systems preferred
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $60,435.00 - $71,100.00, based on the primary location.
